Obituary

Thomas F. Roseborough, 79, of Providence passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Elmhurst Extended Care in Providence.

Born in New Haven, CT, he was a son of the late John and Charlotte (Boyd) Roseborough.

Thomas served our country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam era for many years. He then served his community in New Haven, CT as a New Haven Police Officer for 25 years before retirement.

 After retirement from the police force he went on to work for the Providence Parks and Recreation Department, and also had a successful limousine business in New Haven, CT. In his spare time he enjoyed coaching CYO basketball in Providence, visiting the local casinos, routing on his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys, and having a good laugh with his family and friends.

He leaves three sons, Carl  Roseborough (Lisa), Marty Roseborough, and Rodney Roseborough, two sisters;  Priscilla Parks of Wallingford, CT, and May "Lula" Carter, a brother in law, Bruce Perno of Wallingford, a special friend, Sylvia Davis and his grandchildren, Donnisha Frison, Ebony Holmes, Tiffany Thompson, Corey Thompson, JJ Holmes, Asha Holmes, Margaret Rose Holmes, Nakisha Roseborough, , Kaeden Miller and Anjali Miller, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.

He was predeceased by and his daughter, "Trenchie" Roseborough, and his siblings Eugene “Bing” Roseborough, Ralph Ford, Brenda Perno, and Phyllis Ford.
