Richard Paul Bucki (Richie) 49, of Pawtucket passed away on April 15, 2021. Born in Bridgeport, CT Richie was the beloved son of Joanne (Viccione) Mazzotta and Richard H. Bucki, and the step-son to adoring step-father, Joseph D. Mazzotta. He will be remembered for his gentle heart, beautiful voice, and intellectual humor.
Richie was a loving and devoted father to his magnificent children, Morgan Gabriele-Bucki and Alec Daniel Bucki (his Rocco).
Survived and loved unconditionally by his sisters Carolynn Bucki-Lowe and Mary (Bucki) Choquette. Dear brother-in-law of Jeff Lowe and Joseph Choquette III. He was also the brother of the late Daniel R. Bucki.
Richie is also survived by his adoring nieces Cassidy Choquette, Caitlin Choquette, Abigail Choquette, Jade Lowe, Melody Lowe and Kayla Bucki.
Fondly remembered by several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and many good friends.
A graduate of Rhode Island College, Richie spent his entire career working as a successful insurance broker, employed by Joseph D. Mazzotta Insurance on Elmwood Avenue, in the city of Providence.
Richie enjoyed life to the fullest, lighting up every room he walked into. He loved spending time with his children outdoors, skiing, hiking, camping, canoeing, beaching. Many of his best days were spent on a golf course with his Rocco.
He was so much more than a great brother; Richie was the very best friend a sister could possibly have in life.
Friends will remember Richie for his entertaining karaoke performances. An avid pool player and a master of darts. Loyal and loving, he added so much beauty to the lives of those who were blessed to know him.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 10:00 am, in St Jude Catholic Church, 301 Front Street, Lincoln, to which relatives and friends are invited.
Burial in St. Ann Cemetery will be private.
