Mary Helen McCabe, 96, passed away unexpectedly Saturday January 23, 2021 at the Scandinavian Communities Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing. She was the wife of the late Francis H. McCabe.
Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Edward and Catherine ( Daley ) St. Lawrence. Mary had resided in Pawtucket for over 66 years.
Mary had worked as a secretary for Monet Jewelry in Pawtucket for over 20 years before her retirement. She was also known for her quick wit and love of being around people and making them laugh. She also enjoyed gardening and boating with her husband, family and friends.
Mrs. McCabe is survived by her children Karen M. Brousseau and her husband Ernest, Joan M. Monti and her husband James, her grandchildren Peter Brousseau and his wife Jaclyn, Justin Monti and Melissa Monti.
She is predeceased by a grandson James Monti and her brother Edward St. Lawrence, Jr.
