Maria Dolores (Doti) D’Onofrio, 79, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2021 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the wife of the late Joseph E. D’Onofrio.
Born in Providence, Maria was the daughter of the late Angelo and Teresa (Leone) Doti. She was the sister of the late Teresa Brown.
She was the Circulation Manager at the Brown University Sciences Library for over 30 years. Known as the “SiLi Mom”, Maria will be greatly missed by the Brown community.
Maria is survived by her devoted son, Joseph J. D’Onofrio and his wife Maureen, her grandchildren Stephanie DaSilva and her husband Nicholas, and Brian D’Onofrio, her late sister Teresa’s children, her goddaughter Rose, Diane, and Billy, her brother-in-law, E. David D’Onofrio and his family, and multiple nieces, nephews, cousins, and longtime friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, March 17th at 10 am in St. Joseph Church, 854 Providence Street, West Warwick. Burial will be private.
