Helen L. (Corry) Salois, 100, of Coventry, passed away Friday, December 10, 2021 at Brentwood Nursing Home. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Salois.
Born and raised in the Smith Hill neighborhood of Providence, she was a daughter of the late James J. and Annie (Leyden) Corry.
She leaves three daughters, Kathleen Chorney and her husband Roy, Barbara Barber and her husband John, and Elaine Sisson and her husband George; a sister, Kathleen Corry, five grandchildren; Jennifer Kosh, Kristen Hinson, Marc Sisson, Michael Sisson, and John Barber, and seven great grandchildren. She also leaves several nieces and nephews, including Gayle Leonard and Jack Gorrie. She was the sister of the late James Corry, A. Rita Hall, M. Esther Gorrie, and Raymond Corry.
The phrase “to know her is to love her” perfectly describes Helen. She was gentle, caring and loving ~ truly beautiful both inside and out. She will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, at 11:00 am, in Saint Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road, Warwick, to which relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
