Obituary
Evelyn M. Byron, 70, of Warwick, died Tuesday, at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul Byron.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Mary (Ferguson) Grant.
Evelyn was the owner of South County Tavern for many years, and was the Vice President of South County Mortgage for many years before retirement.
She leaves a son, Daniel LaFlamme, a brother, Edward Grant and his wife Darlene, a sister, Andrea "Honey" Kane and her husband Stephen, many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and her "compassionate angels" Deb Taglione, Joan Provoyeur, and her precious uncle Charles Ferguson. She was the mother of the late Robin McDuffie.

The funeral and burial was private. A memorial mass will be celebrated in the near future once COVID restrictions ease.
