Chome Senethip, 58, of Providence, passed away at home, on March 20, 2020. She was the beloved wife of Sodsai Senethip and devoted daughter of Thep and Phamy Detsavanh.
Besides her husband of 39 years and her parents, she is survived by her children: Seng Palardy, Phet Senethip and Koolmy Senethip, her brothers: Khamphong Detsavanh and Phoukhong Detsavanh, and seven grandchildren: Jordan Vongsithi, Vanessa Senethip, Layla Senethip, Ethan Senethip, Nolan Palardy, Liam Valerio, and Adrien Palardy.
She was also an aunt to many nieces and nephews and a sister to friends who became family.
She was the glue of her family and gave both tough and unconditional love. She was a strong willed woman who earned the nickname “the supervisor” as she was always nearby observing if things were being done correctly a.k.a her way.
She was a social butterfly and spoke 3 languages by having co-workers/friends teach her not only to speak their language but also how to recreate their recipes. Her passion of cooking and sharing it with others was what she loved doing most. She was a very caring person who always had her doors open to anyone in need of a place to call home or a home cooked meal.
She'll be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to have her as part of their life.
All services were private.
