Carmine G. Nappa, 95, of Warwick, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020 at home. He was the beloved husband of Marie (Ferrante) Nappa for the past seventy-one years.
Born in Warwick, he was a son of the late Pasquale and Lillian (Simone) Nappa.
Carmine was a drop forger at Rhode Island Tool Company for thirty-eight years before retiring. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy during World War II. He was an avid bowler and loved to read.
In addition to his wife Marie, he leaves two sons, Carl R. Nappa and his wife Barbara, and Stephen J. Nappa and his wife Carole; a daughter, Donna M. Geiger and her husband Gregory; three brothers, Frank Nappa, Michael Nappa and Anthony Nappa; two sisters, Mary Walters and Anna Rice; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Pasquale Nappa, Vincent Nappa and Domenic Nappa, and sisters, Antoinette King and Amelia Gallo.
The funeral, and burial with military honors, will be private due to current restrictions.
