Jerman, Kathleen M., 83, of Trent Street died Friday at Hopkins Manor in North Providence.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Francis E. and Kathleen M. (Quinn) Garvin.
Kathleen worked as an eligibility clerk for the Department of Human Services, State of Rhode Island for many years before retiring.
She was a graduate of Blessed Sacrament School and Saint Patrick High School and was an avid bingo player. She also enjoyed watching the New England Patriots and vacationing with family and friends.
She leaves her cousins, Jennifer S. Bach, Garey K. Sherman and his wife Virginia Gonzalez, Eileen C. “Lolly” Amaral, Shirley Collins, Charles Collins, and Carol Collins, three grandchildren, Keith F. Jerman, Jr., Kevin Jerman, and Misty D. McKinstry; and her daughter in law, Shannon Jerman. She was predeceased by her son Keith F. Jerman, Sr., her long time partner David Aguiar, brothers Francis Garvin and Edward Garvin, and cousin Deborah S. Sherman.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, at 9:30 am in Saint Patrick Church, 244 Smith Street, Providence to which relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be in Saint Mary Cemetery, Bristol. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers donations to Saint Patrick Academy, 244 Smith Street, Providence, RI 02908 in her memory will be appreciated.
