Karen Ann Geisser, died Sunday, at Phillip Hulitar Hospice Care Center.

 

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of Ronald A. and Eileen "Terri" (VanWagner) Fraielli, Sr.

 

Karen worked as a CNA in the Healthcare Industry. She was a kind and helpful person to all who came into contact with her. She was a very creative soul and an amazing artist.

 

She leaves a daughter, Alexandra “Alex” Geisser, and her father John Geisser,  of North Smithfield, a brother, Ronald Fraielli, Jr., a sister, Kim Savastano and her husband Salvatore Savastano, of Exeter. She was the biological daughter of Jack Burns, the half sister of Susan Bailey, of Newport, and also leaves her 13 nieces and nephews; Salvatore Savastano III (Godson), Mia Savastano, Sofia Savastano, Gianna Frailelli, Anthony Fraielli, and Angelo Fraiell, Jordan Cesana (God Daughter), Dennis Cesana, Cameron Cesana, Aidan Thorpe, Michael Bigonette, Kaelan Geisser, and Joseph J. Geisser.

 

Karen's Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 14 at 10:00 am in Saint Augustine Church, Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence, to which relatives and friends are invited. Burial will follow in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours, Thursday, September 13 from 4 to 8 pm from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations to Hope Hospice and Pallative Care of Rhode Island, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02906 in her memory would be appreciated.
