Helen (Kasparian) Nezamian, 88, passed away on June 8, 2018, with her family by her bedside. She was the beloved wife of the late Jack Nezamian for 52 years and daughter of Hagop and Anna (Kazarian) Kasparian.
Helen was born and raised in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, where she lived for 85 years before moving to Garden City. She had a long and successful career with Mary Kay Cosmetics, starting in 1972. Helen was the first Sales Director and Senior Sales Director of Mary Kay in Rhode Island and the first in Rhode Island to earn a Pink Cadillac, and she remained active in the company until her passing. She enjoyed being with family and friends, traveling the world, and playing slot machines. She was known for her smile, positive outlook, and warmth.
Helen is survived by her daughter Susan Cass, her son-in-law Ronald Cass, and her only granddaughter Daniella Helena Cass (all of Great Falls, Virginia), daughter Michele Nezamian (of Walpole, Massachusetts), her sister Nancy Mouradian (and husband Michael, of Stoneham, Massachusetts), her nieces Carol Mouradian and Lora Burroughs (and husband Chad), and her nephew David Mouradian (and wife Regina), along with great nieces and nephew, Kristina Pappas, and Michael, Elena, and Lisa Mouradian. Helen was also the sister of the late Mariam Kasparian.
Visitation Wednesday, 7 – 9 p.m., in the Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence, and Thursday 9:30 – 10:15 a.m., followed by a service at 11 a.m. in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, 402 Broadway, Providence. Burial will follow the funeral at North Burial Ground in Providence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Helen’s memory to Sts. Vartanantz Church.
