Doreen D. Beattie, 72, of Borden Street, died Thursday, at Rhode Island Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late William Henry Denham, Jr.. and Florence Gloria ( Grenier ) Denham.
Doreen worked as a bookkeeper for Tally's Religious Supply Company for many years. She enjoyed bingo, shopping, reading, trivia, and her favorite televison program, Dancing With The Stars. She was a loving and caring person to all who knew her and loved spending time with her family and friends.
She leaves a daughter, Kim Beattie and her life partner Peter Biondi, two sisters, Kathy Herron and her husband Daniel, and Debra DeCesare and her husband Anthony, a brother William Henry Denham, III, and his wife Linda, 4 nieces, Lindsay Beltran, Sheri McConaghy, Sarah Borges, and Dr. Amanda DeCesare, nine great grand nieces and nephews, Joey, Elijah, Parker, Evan, Nolan, Emme, Jonathan, Sydney, and Adeline.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, at 8:15 am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road (Rte. 117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Teresa of the Child Jesus Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket, RI 02861. Burial will follow in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm.
