Raymond J. Curran, 51, of Wisdom Avenue, died suddenly at home Tuesday, July 3rd, 2012, from complications due to a lifelong illness with diabetes.
Born in Providence, a son of Helen (Kelly) Curran and the late Raymond J Curran, he was a lifelong city resident.
Ray was a technician for Primary Flow Signal, Inc. for the past eight years.
He was a graduate of Blessed Sacrament School, attended Our Lady of Providence High School, and was an avid New York Yankee fan.
In addition to his mother Helen, he leaves four brothers, Paul B. Curran and his wife Therese, Robert M. Curran and his wife Sally, Daniel P. Curran and his wife Sandra, and Kevin T. Curran and his wife Tonya; two sisters, Lynn M. Halmi and her husband Dezi, and Jean A. Coelho and her husband John; and nieces and nephews, Nicole and Jonathan Halmi, and Noah and Kyle Curran.
The funeral will be held Saturday, at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Blessed Sacrament Church, Academy Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Visiting hours Friday, 4 – 8 pm.
