Anna M. Cullis, 92, of Langdon Street, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 18, 2012, at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, in Providence, with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late James P. Cullis.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Johanna (Rosol) Opielawski.
She was a loving and caring person who was devoted to her family.
She is survived by her three daughters, Paula A. LaRocque and her husband Rodney with whom she made her home, Janice A. Hoover and her late husband, Dennis, and Pamela A. Cullis and her partner, Meri Greenwald; her grandchildren, Julie and Steven Motta, Jeffrey and Maureen LaRocque and Christopher White and his partner, Krystal Murphy; her great-grandchildren, Amanda and Ashley Motta, Marygrace, Teresa Rose and Jack LaRocque. She was the sister of the late Joseph and Peter Opielawski, Josephine Connell, Helen Pedchenko and Sophie Kawa.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, at 7:45am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00am, in St. Ann Church, Hawkins Street, Providence. Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
